All On Canvas paintings are hand-painted by artist Chris Blackhurst.
In 2005, Chris was commissioned by Barnardo's childrens charity to create a painting to celebrate the charity's centenary.
The final painting was auctioned off by Cherie Booth at a star-studded night at the Arts Club, Dover St, London with all proceeds going to the charity.
Chris' work has featured in the national and regional press and has proven popular with celebrities, with stars from the worlds of tv soaps and sports among those with an On Canvas portrait hanging on their walls.
A career path that has included architecture, journalism, newspaper design and graphic design has spawned an approach to painting that is heavily influenced by the media, design, pop culture and graphical elements.
As a designer by trade, Chris' natural bent is to create with other people's needs in mind and this philosophy has led to On Canvas - an art service that puts the client in control.
